Celebrating the life of Heyward V. Christmas, Jr.
Thank you for signing Heyward V. Christmas, Jr.'s Guestbook
I just saw that he had passed away.I would like to share a memory of him if I may. I stared working for the school district in 1991. He was our inspector and also the rest of the districts school. Most managers cringed when he would walk in their kitchen. I admired the way he handled his self during those inspections. He was thorough and never left a spot unturned. At that time I worked at Timrod Elementary. It was probably the cleanest kitchen in the district. He came to inspect and walked around which seemed like forever. He told Ms Weber he wasn't leaving till he could find something wrong. Back then the cooler and freezer was open at the top with the motors visible. He got a ladder to see dust and wrote us up for it. We just laughed it off and if I remember right the district had to send someone to clean it. He was tough but also a gentle sole.As years passed he mellowed out. He was well liked and respected.so sorry to hear of his passing.

God will sustain you with his "right hand of righteousness" during this difficult time and through each passing day. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Isaiah 41:13; I "am grasping your right hand, the One (God) saying to you,...'I will help you'". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7, 1 Peter 5:7)

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Christmas. I worked at the Red Cross many years ago and he was one of my favorite regular donors. I always enjoyed our conversations while he gave blood. Sending prayers to his family and friends. Rest easy my friend.
