2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials". James 5:11; God "is very tender in affection (very compassionate) and merciful". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

I'm sorry my family can't be there with y'all as you lay Evelyn to rest. I loved her very much. She taught me a lot about fishing and life. She was so generous to me through my teen years and my mom and her were great friends, like sisters. She has lived a long life and now has her new body and renewed memory. I know she is reunited with family and is in the presence of Jesus. She was a wonderful person!

I grew up living across the road from Evelyn and Dick, playing with Stevie on many summer days. I was fortunate enough to see and speak with her at church while visiting my sister-in-law, Lynette McKenzie-She was a very sweet lady and I will always remember her playing the church organ on Sunday mornings
