Celebrating the life of Jerry A. Nettles, Sr.
Thank you for signing Jerry A. Nettles, Sr.'s Guestbook
I was sad to hear about Jerry's passing. I would say that Jerry was one of my best friends. You see, Jerry and my brother George Garrison were roommates at the Citadel. Jerry and I communicated after he invited my wife and I to a weekend in 2007. Jerry was the only one from the team to come to my brother's funeral in 1965. Because of Jerry I met George's high school girlfriend Shirley.

God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! To all the Nettles family,
We were so sorry to hear about Jerry. He was such a wonderful person as well as a mentor to my son, Rhodes when he played football at Wanda High School. All of us will hold him in a special place in our hearts. We continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
